The conference will take place at the Institute of Mathematics (Building C-11, Room P.01), Janiszewskiego 14, Wroclaw University of Technology, Poland.
The registration is as informal as it can be, ie. anyone interested in attending or giving a lecture at the conference should send an email to Rafal Weron (rweron@im.pwr.wroc.pl).
The registration fee of 200 PLN (or 60 EUR) is payable - in cash only - on arrival. It covers administrative costs, tea, coffee and refreshments between lectures, lunch and the conference dinner.
A limited number of rooms is reserved for conference participants at the Polonia Hotel, tel. (+48-71) 343-1021, fax. (+48-71) 344-7310. When making a reservation please quote the conference name. The Polonia Hotel is located in the city center, walking distance from the railway station, see City Map.
All conference speakers are kindly requested to send abstracts or extended summaries of their papers. The length of an abstract/summary is restricted to one page. Only Postscript and Latex formats are accepted. The deadline for submission of abstracts is May 12th, 2002.
A selection of original papers presented at the conference will be published in a special issue of Applicationes Mathematicae. Authors are advised to submit their papers to the conference organizers no later than May 26th, 2002, preferably in Postscript (ps) format.
The Organizing Committee will not accept responsibility for accidents or damage to the participants and accompanying persons or to their private property, which may occur during or may arise from the meeting. You are advised to arrange your own health and travel insurance.
There are currency exchange kantors within a walking distance of 5 minutes from the Wroclaw University of Technology (opening hours: Mon-Fri 8.00-18.00). Banks, larger shops and hotels accept all major credit cards. Kantors accept only cash, but usually offer better exchange rates.
All taxis in Wroclaw are metered. Tax and tip are included in the meter price. Taxis can be hired on the street or ordered by phone. Radio Taxi: 919, 9626.
