"Molecular Dynamics: the hottest area among computer science, molecular biology and pharamacology" Molecular Dynamics (MD) is used to obtain information about time- dependent properties of a molecular system. Beginning in theoretical physics, the method of MD gained popularity in material science and since 1970s also in biochemistory and biophysics. It serves as an important tool in protein structure determination and refinement. After the success of human genome project, MD becomes the hottest area among computer science, molecular biology and pharmacology. I'll lecture why MD draws the attention of researchers of the three fields through Japanese activity to rewin the fastest computer in the world.
