About me

I was born in 1976 in Wrocław, Poland. This is also where I finished mathematical studies at the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology, presenting thesis entitled "Strategic market games", prepared under the supervision of prof. Andrzej Nowak. In 2004 I defended my Ph.D. thesis "Simple equilibria in dynamic strategic market games", for which my advisor was prof. Tadeusz Radzik. In 2020 I obtained habilitation in mathematics.

In my scientific work I concentrate on the game theory. My main fields of interest are stochastic games (with finite or infinite number of players), both the theory and its applications in economics and engineering (computer science and telecommunications in particular). I am also interested in general noncooperative game theory, with particular interest in finite games, and other applications of the theory of games (eg. in social choice). I cooperate with prof. Eitan Altman from INRIA Mediterranee, Sophia Antipolis and with the Network Optimization Group at Laboratoire Informatique d'Avignon. Here you can find the list of my publications.

I work in the "Games and stochastic optimization" group at the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics, Wrocław University of Technology.

Since 2014 I am a member of the executive board of International Society of Dynamic Games.
